Sabyasachi Hajara, the former CMD of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), played a key role in the shipping industry and was recognized as one of the top 100 influential personalities in the Global Shipping Industry in 2010.

He holds a B.Sc (Chemistry) degree with a Silver Medal from the University of Calcutta and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He joined SCI in 1973 and later obtained a Law degree from the University of Calcutta in 1977. Besides his work at SCI, Hajara has held significant positions in industry organizations such as INSA, ISF, and the World Maritime University.

Shivanandan Madhav Halbe, a Calcutta native, holds a Master's degree (FG) and gained experience as a master on various types of ships until 1991. He has held positions in prominent maritime companies and has been involved in setting up maritime academies. Halbe is recognized as a Fellow of the Company of Master Mariners of India and the Nautical Institute (UK). He currently serves as the CEO of MASSA, a leading maritime association in Mumbai that formulates policies for Indian seafarers' employment.

Halbe has actively contributed to the establishment of maritime academies. He was involved in setting up the MASSA Maritime Academy in Navi Mumbai in 2000 and played a role in establishing the MASSA Maritime Academy in Chennai in 2014. With a strong interest in maritime education, seafarer training, and India's development as a source of maritime manpower, Halbe is recognized as a Fellow of the Company of Master Mariners of India and the Nautical Institute (UK).

Shantanu Bhadkamkar is the MD of ATC Global Logistics Pvt Ltd. Group, a renowned customs broker and international freight forwarder in India. He joined the family business in 1981 and has been serving as the Managing Director (Group CEO) of ATC Group since 1987.

Additionally, Bhadkamkar is the Founder Director and Chairman of Rotomatic Containers Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of plastic rotationally moulded products.

He has held prominent positions in trade associations and chambers, including being the former President of AMTOI, Immediate Past President of MACCIA, Immediate Past Chairman of IFCBA, Vice Chairman of CILP, Advisor and former President of FFFAI, and Advisor for the FIATA Multimodal Transport Institute WG SEA. Through these roles, he has gained extensive experience and a deep understanding of the customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and logistics industries.

Kamal Chadha has been a Seagoing professional for over 25 years, and a media expert for 24 years. His career is founded on a post graduation in management from the University of Plymouth in the UK.

He sees himself as a stay-fit enthusiast whose favourite saying is by the late President of India, Mr Abdul Kalam: "If you want to shine like the Sun, you must first burn like the Sun".

Santosh Patil is currently the AVP - Business Development at Indian Register of Shipping from 2013 onwards.

With over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry he is a passionate and versatile business development and marketing professional with a proven track record of delivering results. He has domain expertise in container shipping, feedering, maritime satellite communications, and ship classification.

He leads the business development, marketing, and PR efforts for the organization, with a focus on enhancing its brand image, reputation, and customer loyalty. He is also into designing and driving a dynamic and evolving corporate communications strategy, leveraging social media and other platforms to engage with our customers and stakeholders.

Before joining IRS, he was Country Manager India at Marlink, and Sr. Manager at Shreyas Shipping and Logistics ( Transworld Group), After completed his BE Electronics from Pune University, he went on to complete his Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade from IMDR Pune.

Mrs. H K Joshi became the CMD of The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. on September 11, 2019. She joined SCI as the Director (Finance) on February 5, 2015, after serving as the General Manager (F&A) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), Mumbai. She has over three decades of experience with ONGC, including nearly two decades with ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL), the overseas arm of ONGC.

Mrs. Joshi holds a B.Com, M.Com, and M.Phil from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, and has received financial training in Dallas, USA. She has participated in the Advanced Global Leadership Program conducted by SCOPE and IIM Kolkata, with overseas exposure in Europe. During her association with OVL, she undertook various overseas assignments, visiting countries such as Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Oman, Dubai, Qatar, London, USA, Singapore, Vietnam, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

In addition to her role as Director (Finance), Mrs. Joshi held multiple additional charges at the Board level, including Director (Personnel & Administration) in FY 2017-18 and Director (Bulk Carrier & Tankers) in FY 2019. She continues to serve as the Director (Finance) and wasappointed as the Chairperson & Managing Director by the Government of India on December 19, 2019.

An Experienced Naval Architect and Oil & Gas Professional, Mr. J. Dasgupta is currently the President of Institution of Naval Architects (INA). He is engaged with M/s Arush Gas Technology Services (AGTS), Ahmedabad as a founder since 2016,leading a team of engineers in Technology development and Engineering solutionsfor LNG Terminals and floating LNG & LPG solutions including FSRUs, LNG Carriers, LNG Transportation, LNG Powered Engines, and related technologies.

On behalf of INA, he has been a member of the Indian delegation to IMO MEPC 79 & MEPC 80; and attended MSC 107 online in hybrid format.

His previous engagement was with Larsen & Toubro where he was the Head, Upstream Marine Group, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Limited, Mumbai; CEO of L&T-VALDEL Engineering Bangalore and Head of Floating System Business, all dealing in various Upstream Hydrocarbon projects.

Mr. Dasgupta spent a considerable part of his career with IRS where he grew up to be a Chief Surveyor looking after Research & Development and was involved with all functions of the Classification Society from Rule Development to Surveys and Certification. He was a then Member of Indian Delegations at the IMO for between 2003 to 2007, a Member of IACS Working Party & Asian Classification Society on Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) between 1996 to 2002.He was India Correspondent & Member Design Philosophy Committee for International Ship & Offshore Structural Congress (ISSC) in 2006 & 2009 contribution to Goal based Standard.

In the early part of his professional life, he worked with Mazagon Docks in the Design office for development of design & drawings of Jacket Launch barge, Offshore Patrol Vessels, Passenger Ships & Tugs & Trawlers.

He isa Life Member of Indian Cryogenics Council, Inter University Accelerator Centre; and a member of project approval committee of Department of Earth Science, Deep Water Mission.
